Perché la conferenza
Molti sono i cambiamenti in atto nel settore culturale e le sfide a cui artisti e lavoratori del settore dello spettacolo sono chiamati a rispondere. Appare urgente trasformare queste sfide in opportunità, ripensando il rapporto tra artisti e mercato del lavoro, così da permettere ai protagonisti del settore culturale di contribuire al rafforzamento della cultura quale strumento di dialogo internazionale e crescita inclusiva e sostenibile.
La conferenza, promossa dal Teatro della Toscana, apre una riflessione su questi temi, a partire dal settore teatrale, offrendo un contributo agli obiettivi e alle riflessioni del G7 della cultura.
L’evento, presentando buone pratiche e metodologie adottate da diverse istituzioni internazionali, mette sotto esame punti di forza e di debolezza, strategie e strumenti che potrebbero essere condivisi in una prospettiva internazionale. Esperti del settore teatrale e operatori di teatro si confronteranno su tre temi cruciali: i cambiamenti in atto nel mercato del lavoro in ambito teatrale, le novità apportate nelle proprie pratiche formative e produttive, gli strumenti adottati, le strategie possibili per far fronte alle sfide del presente.
Reasons for the conference
The cultural sector is undergoing many changes and artists and other workers in the performing arts sector face many challenges. There is an urgent need to use these challenges as opportunities, by rethinking the relationship between artists and the labour market, in order to allow the leading players in the cultural sector to contribute to the strengthening of culture as an instrument of international dialogue and inclusive and sustainable growth.
The conference promoted by the Teatro della Toscana provides the chance to reflect on these issues, starting with the theatre sector, thus also making a contribution to the aims and considerations of the G7 Culture.
The event presents best practices and methodologies adopted by a range of international institutions, analysing critical strengths and weaknesses, strategies and instruments that might be shared internationally. Experts and practitioners from the theatre sector will discuss three crucial issues: changes in the labour market in the theatre sector, new training and production practices and the instruments adopted, and possible strategies for facing the challenges of the present.
