Continuano i progetti formativi del Teatro della Toscana con le più grandi istituzioni europee.

A metà del 2018 ci siamo posti una domanda: come si può contribuire a una formazione nuova e internazionale di giovani performer senza ricalcare il cliché della masterclass o del rapporto subordinato tra il ‘grande artista’ e l’allievo? Come si possono superare nel processo formativo le barriere tra i diversi linguaggi della scena? La risposta che abbiamo trovato somigliava più ad un invito: parliamone, suggerimento di Juan Carlos Martel Bayod che ha coordinato il primo anno di lavoro di questo programma, alla cui ideazione e al cui sviluppo ha lavorato anche Elisabetta Di Mambro.

Abbiamo così immerso quattordici allievi della Scuola per Attori ‘Orazio Costa’, tutti under 23, in un fluido e serendipico labirinto creato grazie alla partnership con alcune importanti istituzioni (il Watermill Center, la Norwegian Theatre Academy, la ArtEZ Academy) e due dei nostri artisti associati, Euripides Laskaridis e Charles Chemin.

Si sono trattati gli argomenti più vari, dall’antropologia urbana alla poetica dei suoni, dall’overtourism alle metodologie di presentazione di una performance. Il lockdown, che ha impedito la realizzazione di un progetto di mise en espace concepito per gli Chantiers d’Europe di Parigi, non ha fermato il lavoro che è proseguito sulle piattaforme online, e che continuerà fino all’estate 2021.

The training projects of Teatro della Toscana continue with the largest European institutions.

In mid-2018 we asked ourselves a question: how can we contribute to a new and international training of young performers without following the cliché of the masterclass or the subordinate relationship between the “great artist” and the student? How can the barriers between the different languages ​​of the scene be overcome in the training process? The answer we found was more like an invitation: let’s talk about it, a suggestion by Juan Carlos Martel Bayod who coordinated the first year of work of this program, whose conception and development also worked on Elisabetta Di Mambro.

We thus immersed fourteen students of the ‘Orazio Costa’ School for actors , all under 23, in a fluid and serendipic labyrinth created thanks to the partnership with some important institutions (the Watermill Center, the Norwegian Theatre Academy, the ArtEZ Academy of the Arts) and two of our associated artists , Euripides Laskaridis and Charles Chemin.

The most varied topics were covered, from urban anthropology to the poetics of sounds, from overtourism to the methodologies of presenting a performance. The lockdown, which prevented the realization of a mise en espace project conceived for the Chantiers d’Europe in Paris, did not stop the work that continued on online platforms, and which will continue until the summer of 2021.
