Workshop CocoRosie – Produzione in residenza

Programma

Periodo di residenza artistica al Teatro Studio di Scandicci per CocoRosie, al lavoro su un nuovo progetto musicale e teatrale insieme alla coreografa Irina Anufrieva e ai musicisti Douglas Wieselman, Asya Sorshneva e Takuya Nakamura. Il rapporto tra il Teatro della Pergola e CocoRosie nasce grazie a Jungle Book, lo spettacolo di Bob Wilson che verrà al Teatro della Pergola, in coproduzione con il Théâtre de la Ville di Parigi, e avrà un positivo influsso sull’attività con i giovani della Scuola per Attori ‘Orazio Costa’, che trascorreranno alcuni giorni di workshop con gli artisti in residenza. È anche il ritorno del Teatro Studio in un importante contesto internazionale come luogo di creazione e produzione.

Sono previste sessioni con gli allievi Costa sia per assistere alle prove, che per avere degli incontri e confronti con gli artisti e i collaboratori del gruppo, all’interno del percorso formativo iniziato e che proseguirà ancora con gli workshop del Watermill Center / Robert Wilson / Charles Chemin, anche in vista di nuovi progetti che li vedranno protagonisti nelle prossime stagioni.

CocoRosie Workshop – Production in Residence

Artistic residency at Teatro Studio in Scandicci – Florence for CocoRosie, working on a new musical and theatrical project together with the choreographer Irina Anufrieva and to the musicians Douglas Wieselman, Asya Sorshneva and Takuya Nakamura. The relationship between Teatro della Pergola and CocoRosie was born thanks to Jungle Book, the Bob Wilson’s production that will come to Teatro della Pergola, in co-production with the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, and will have a positive influence on the activity with the young students of the ‘Orazio Costa’ School for actors, who will spend a few days of workshops with the artists in residence. It is also the return of the Teatro Studio Scandicci in an important international context as a place of creation and production.

Working Sessions has been scheduled with the Costa students both to attend the rehearsals, and to have meetings and discussions with the artists and collaborators of the group, within the training course started and which will continue with the Watermill Center / Robert Wilson / Charles Chemin workshops, also in view of new projects that will see them protagonists in the forthcoming seasons.
